These beautiful vintage Italian compacts date from the turn-of-the-century to the 1950's. They are all hand-painted enamel figurals and scenes done on a sterling silver base. The interiors generally have gold vermeil overlay and many of the outsides also have gold vermeil. They are all 800 sterling silver.
